US has no jurisdiction in whaling case - Sea Shepherd

A Japanese whale research group has gone to court to try to stop the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and its founder Paul Watson, disrupting its whaling activities in the Southern Ocean.

The Japanese Whaling fleet is already heading south while Sea Shepherd is preparing itsd boats for what has become annual summer clashes with the Japanese.

The Institute of Cetacean Research has filed a lawsuit with a U.S. Federal court naming Sea Shepherd and its founder Paul Watson, demanding they be ordered to cease disrupting its whaling activities.
