Australia hosting dialogue in Tonga to support Pacific women

Australia is hosting a Pacific gathering this week aimed at boosting the influence of women in all aspects of government.

Improving the lives of women in the Pacific remains a foreign policy priority for Australian authorities.

Australia's Ambassador for Women and Girls, Natasha Stott Despoja says the meeting in Tonga will bring together more than 30 female leaders from the region.
