Australia refugee transfer deal with Cambodia imminent

Updated 12 August 2014, 12:18 AEST

Cambodia's political opposition is calling for an end to the secrecy surrounding Australia's plan to send asylum seekers there from the Pacific island nation of Nauru.

It could see up to a thousand refugees from Nauru sent to the country.

Critics say Cambodia will struggle to cope with the influx.
