Diabetics left behind in natural disasters, says NGO

A group dedicated to distributing insulin in developing countries says diabetics are often the forgotten victims of natural disasters.

Insulin For Life says it's struggling to get the life-saving hormone to survivors of the recent deadly typhoon in the Philippines and it's urging governments and aid organisations to treat insulin as an essential supply when disaster strikes.
