We speak to Walkley Award-winning journalist Di Martin in the second of our farewell series of interviews for 'Asia Pacific'.

After 16 years on air, the last 'Asia Pacific' will be heard on Friday.

Di was one of the founding members of the program, and played a key role in its genesis.

Among the highlights of her reporting, she recounts the fall of Suharto and East Timor's struggle for independence.
