Fresh doubt cast over Maldives election

Just days away from parliamentary elections, Maldives Supreme Court has sacked the Election Commission's President and his deputy.

The Court also sentenced Commissioner Fuwad Thowfeek to a six-month suspended jail sentence.

The two men were accused of contempt of court.
