Full extent of Philippine typhoon disaster still unknown, says Caritas

One aid agency say it will be another week before the full extent of the disaster in the Philippines caused by Typhoon Haiyan can be assessed.

Caritas Australia is an aid agency run by the Catholic church and its teams have visited regions outside of Tacloban also hit by the Super Typhoon.

These regions include the city of Ormoc and the western side of Leyte island.
