Higher taxes key to cutting Pacific smoking rate

More details have been released about the World Health Organisation's ambitious drive to create a Tobacco Free Pacific by 2025.

The regional campaign slogan is short and to the point - "It can be done."

To achieve its aim, the WHO has detailed six main action areas.

Ada Moadsiri, from the WHO office in Fiji says the tobacco industry is still pushing smoking across the region.
