Indian PM visits focus renewed attention on Kashmir

India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been visiting the Siachen glacier in disputed Kashmir.

The area has been dubbed the world's highest battlefield and site of a defacto border with Pakistan known as the Line of Control.

The prime minister's visit comes at a time of renewed tension in the region.
