Many foreign firms still wary of investing in Myanmar

Many foreign firms still wary of investing in Myanmar

Australia's government is not alone in pushing companies to invest in the changing economy of Myanmar.

In recent years, multi-nationals and governments have been keen to get a stake in the country as its economic and political reforms unfold.

Now, a British human rights group says many UK companies are holding back and waiting until after elections in 2015, and it seems many Australian companies agree.
