More flood misery in store for Jakarta

More flood misery in store for Jakarta

The Indonesian capital Jakarta has endured another day of widespread disruption from monsoonal downpours.

Eleven people are confirmed dead, in what's believed to be the first time central Jakarta's ever been under water.

Conditions today were a little better, as the floodwaters receded a bit but the reprieve won't last long. Another large mass of water is heading towards Jakarta thanks to heavy downpours further upstream.
