Push to position Australia as 'China's food bowl'

There's a push to market Australian agricultural produce to China under a single brand.

The driving force is mining billionaire Andrew Forrest, who describes the move as an "unprecedented" 100-year partnership, to position Australia as China's food bowl.

The push has the backing of the federal and several state governments as well as farmer organisations.
