Remembering Cambodia's garbage dump kids (c.2008)

Asia Pacific presenter Sen lam went to Cambodia in 2008 to report on a range of stories.

But this one about a group children who survived as scavengers on of Phnom Penh's largest garbage dumps struck a particular chord.

A US-based charity 'A New Day Cambodia' rescued dozens of children from the dump, providing them with food, shelter, education and healthcare.
