Solomon Islands ready to manage its own security: RAMSI

The head of the Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands, Nicholas Coppel says the country will soon be ready to manage it's own security.

RAMSI has been operating in the Solomon's for nine years, with the military assistance to end in the second half of next year.

The police force is due to carry on at least for another four years.
