The five men accused of the gang rape and murder of an Indian woman have appeared before a packed court in New Delhi today for the first time.

Two of the adult accused have offered to inform on the other three in return for a lighter sentence. A sixth suspect, who's said to be 17, is expected to be tried separately in a juvenile court, where he'd face a maximum three-year sentence at a reform facility.
