Time for world to 'get its act together' on climate change, says EU

The European Union says it's important for Pacific small island states to continue to argue for urgent international action on climate change.

Connie Hedegaard is a former Danish cabinet minister and host of the 2009 UN climate summit in Copenhagen.

She's now the EU's commissioner for Climate Action, and will be leading the EU team to next week's Pacific Islands Forum in Marshall Islands.
