Markets slump after US Federal Reserve hints at easing stimulus

Regional markets have taken another big hit, after markets in the United States and Europe fells sharply overnight Investors around the world are worried about how the global economy will cope when stimulus measures in the United States start to unwind.

The head of the US central bank, the Federal Reserve, has flagged a reduction in its stimulus program later this year, if the American economy strengthens.
