Thousands of opposition supporters have gathered outside Phnom Penh's airport to greet Sam Rainsy as he returns from self-imposed exile.

Cambodia's newly-pardoned opposition leader says he will help his party's bid to end Prime Minister Hun Sen's nearly three decades in power.
