The went from Buang village near Fischaffen in Morobe Province, to Lae and then on to Port Moresby.

The trek is the result of a church support project called, The Integral Community development Program, organised by local MP and Speaker of Parliament, Theo Zurenuoc.

One of the group's mentors, Pastor Daniel Nare, described the physical and spiritual journey to Isabelle Genoux.
