A new way to teach Pacific children to react to natural disasters

Th charity organisation, Caritas Australia has developed an educational DVD for early childhood teachers in the Pacific, to help them explain techniques on surviving natural disasters.

The DVD is a cost effective way to disseminate methods to prepare young children for cyclones, earthquakes, tsunamis, and floods.

Adam Elliott, is Caritas Australia's Solomon Islands and Vanuatu Program Manager in Honiara.

He explained the Nursery Rhyme project to Isabel Genoux.
