Adelaide the start to the road to Rio for Vanuatu beach volleyball

Vanuatu's women's beach volleyball team has started their international campaign in Adelaide South Australia.

They are currently ranked around 30 but have aspirations to crack the top ten which would given them entry into the main draw for the Rio Olympic qualifiers.

The coach Lauren McLeod - the team members Miller Elwin and Henriette Iatika have arrived early in Adelaide and have already hit the sand in a practice match against the highly fancied team from the Austrlaian Instiute of Sport.

Vanuatu will be taking part in the Australian Champships which start this weekend.
