Australia confirms 'disturbance' at Manus Island detention centre

There are reports there's been a mass breakout at the Manus Island detention centre in Papua New Guinea.

Tensions are thought to have boiled over yesterday afternoon and riot police were called in.

Australia's Immigration Department has confirmed that there has been a disturbance, with a number of injuries and arrests.
