Australia signs Kyoto protocol

The Australian government has re-committed to the Kyoto Protocol on climate change.

But the Climate Change Minister, Greg Combet, says Australia won't provide what he calls a blank cheque.

And in making the annoucement, Mr Combet also criticised the opposition leader Tony Abbott, over the national climate tax.
