Australia's Steven Jeffress has overcome blustery conditions to win the inaugural Fiji International Golf tournament.

The Queenslander finished four shots ahead of the field, with Australians also filling the next three positions, including 20-year-old Jake Higginbottom who had led for much of the tournament.

Three-time major winner and local hero Vijay Singh finished 10th on the course which he designed, 12 strokes behind the winner.

For his thoughts on how the tournament played out, we're joined by Brian Thorburn, CEO of the PGA of Australia.
