Australia's Immigration Minister to investigate detention centres

Australia's Immigration Minister Tony Burke has reaffirmed government policy that all asylum seekers who arrive in Australian waters by boat will be sent to Papua New Guinea for processing and settlement.

Mr Burke told Fran Kelly he's spoken directly to whistleblower, Rod St George and is now acting on his concerns about personal safety within the centre.
