Australia's Minister for Foreign Affairs visits Papua New Guinea

Australia's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Bob Carr is on a four day visit to Papua New Guinea .

Senator Carr says the issue of domestic and sexual violence will be on the agenda for the inaugural Australia-PNG Ministerial Forum in Port Moresby on Thursday.

He's announced funding of 370,000 dollars for the establishment of four Family and Sexual Violence, units which will offer support for women trying to escape domestic violence.

Senator Carr discussed the matter with Isabel Genoux.
