Bed nets and combination drugs fight malaria in PNG

The fight against malaria never stops and in Papua New Guinea, the Institute of Medical Research is at the forefront of the battle.

Based at Goroke, in the Eastern Highlands Province, It's the Research Arm of the National Health Department.

Results from this research forms the basis for the country's new anti-malarial treatment guidelines.

Dr.Inoni Betuela Is the Head of the Institute's Vector Borne Disease Unit.

Pius Bonjui asked him about the latest developments.
