Brazil's coffee price hike good news for Pacific growers

It may be bad news for coffee drinkers, but Pacific growers are benefiting from a steep rise in prices driven by the drought affecting the world's biggest coffee producer, Brazil.

Since the start of the year, the price of arabica beans has risen by more than 75 per cent.

It's a situation compounded by significantly lower output in Vietnam, the world's biggest producer of robusta beans.
