Carr inspects Samoan recovery after Kiribati largesse

Australia's Foreign Minister, Bob Carr, will tour areas of Samoa's main island today effected by December's devastating cyclone and inspect recovery projects being funded by Australia.

Senator Carr is in Samoa as part of a four day tour of the Pacific that's also taken him to Solomon Islands and Kiribati and later today to Vanuatu.

His day began weith a breakfast meeting with Samoan prime minister, Tuilaepe Sailele.
