China to join NZ in Pacific water project

China to join NZ in Pacific water project

Both China and Taiwan have been competing to sign MOU's on trade and aid with Pacific nations but have agreed to shelve that for now.

Criticism has also been levelled at China for not sharing and involving itself with other aid donours on projects in the region.

That may also be changing with the reported signing of a joint water project by China and New Zealand.
