Climate Council warns on Australia's ageing energy infrastructure

Updated 17 June 2014, 13:13 AEST

The report says Australia's coal-fired power stations are some of the oldest, most inefficient and highest polluting in the world.

It says Australia, blessed with so much sun and wind, is losing the renewables race.
