That's the view of Stephen Gardiner, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Washington ... who's vistiing Australia.

He says a moral and institutional failure to act on climate change, means that within two or three decades the world will be looking for geo-engineering solutions.. Using technology to try to artificially modify weather patterns on a global scale.

Presenter: Gregg Borschmann

Speaker: Stephen Gardiner, Professor of Philosophy & Ben Rabinowitz Endowed Professor of Human Dimensions of the Environment, University of Washington
