Cook Island elders confront juvenile crime

A Community Advisory Council has been established in the Cook Islands to address a spate of juvenile crime.

It has a wide range of members from the community and recently held its first public meeting in Rarotonga.

The aim is to develop community youth programs with the help of local police.

Pastor Tutai Pere is a member of the Advisory Council and he discussed the issue with Isabelle Genoux.
