Cultural disconnect leads to mental health problems in NZ Pacific youth

A mental health survey of young Pacific Islanders in New Zealand published earlier this year has helped highlight a glaring gap in the way mental illness is understood in Pacific and western settings.

And it's inspired a Tongan psychiatric nurse to undertake exciting new research in cross-cultural mental health.
