Cyclone Garry puts Cook Islands on alert

The Fiji Weather Bureau has issued a tropical cyclone alert for the Cook Islands, as Cyclone Garry barrels in after brushing past American Samoa yesterday.

It's expected to travel between the northern and southern Cook Islands, and late yestereday the only island in its direct path was Suwarrow.
