Cyclone Gary near Samoa is hard to predict

A Category Two tropical cyclone is behaving very erratically to the north east of Samoa.

Cyclone Gary has shifted track several times, but at last report seemed like it could affect American Samoa in the next day or so.

Mulipola Titimaea, director of the Meteorology Division, says Cyclone Gary is proving to be particularly difficult to predict.
