Different tracks between codes on sports drug scandal

The issue of performance-enhancing drugs in Australian sport will just not go away at the moment.

A key difference has emerged between Australia's two major sporting codes in their approach to the scandal.

The Australian Football League says one club, Essendon, and a player from another club are being investigated for potentially using performance enhancing drugs.

But the National Rugby League says it won't publicly identify any clubs under investigation.

The AFL says Essendon players may have been given drugs without their knowledge or consent.
