Drug concerns at Cronulla Sharks overshadow NRL opening games

The National Rugby League season begins in Sydney tonight with a cloud hanging over one of it's clubs - the Cronulla SharksBetting was suspended on Sunday's match between the Sharks and the Gold Coast yesterday owing to rumours that as many as 14 of the club's players could miss the game over drug use.

Cronulla is one of six NRL teams being investigated by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority in the aftermath of the Australian Crime Commission report into perfomance enhancing drugs.
