Early results expected in Pacific from global NCD health monitoring

Some of the biggest killer diseases across the Pacific have been included in a new global monitoring scheme set up by the World Health Organisation.

The framework comprises nine voluntary global targets and 25 indicators to prevent and control diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer, chronic lung disease and other noncommunicable diseases.
