Emotional Vanuatu president describes Cyclone Pam affects

The president of Vanuatu has made an emotional plea for humanitarian assistance following the widespread devastation caused by Cyclone Pam at the weekend.

On the sidelines of the World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in the Japanese city of Sendai, President Baldwin Lonsdale spoke to the media earlier today and described the tragedy in his homeland.
