Fiji athletes looking to lift medals at Pacific Mini Games

Weightlifting Fiji believes its young new athletes have the potential to return home victorious from the Pacific Mini Games next month.

Despite financial burdens meaning this year's team is the smallest Fiji has taken to a regional games in recent history, its members will be gunning for medals.

Lilian Amasa, General Secretary of the Fiji Weighlifting Federation says there are two men and two women heading to the games in Wallis and Futuna next month.
