Fiji civil groups may act as "defacto" Constituent Assembly

The Citizens' Constitutional Forum in Fiji says a seminar to prepare for the now scrapped Constituent Assembly will act as a de facto Assembly.

Representative of community groups are meeting to draw up a response to the draft new Constitution and the outcome may be submitted to the government as a reaction to the new draft.
