Fiji floating bar and restaurant moving

A floating bar and restaurant near a popular surfing spot in Fiji will relocate to another part of the country in the wake of being closed down by the military government.

Cloud 9, operated by Tony Philp, is moving to another surfing area in the Mamanuca island chain west of the main island of Viti Levu.

There had been problems with villagers in the original location, near the popular cloudbreak surfing area, and the interim government said the company did not have the correct licenses.

Tony Philp tells Bruce Hill the issues have now been sorted out, but his operation will still have to move.
