The Pacific ACP Leaders are meeting in Port Moresby.

They are discussing a range of issues, but leading the agenda is Fiji's participation at future PACP-related meetings. Fiji hasn't participated at the highest level of PACP meeting since its suspension from the Pacific Islands Forum in 2009.

Fiji's Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama accepted an invitation extended by PNG's Prime Minister, Peter O'Neill during an official visit to Suva last month.

Speaking in Port Moresby, Commodore Bainimarama said he was looking forward to a positive outcome and to Fiji being included back into the regional leaders meetings and groups.

Fiji hasn't participated at the highest level of PACP meeting since its suspension from the Pacific Islands Forum in 2009.

The meeting's Chair, Cook Islands Prime Minister Henry Puna, also extended his greeting to Fiji's leader.
