Film maker claims most indigenous Hawaiians oppose US 'occupation'

The native Hawaiian film maker Anne Keala Kelly says she would like to show her controversial documentary Noho Hewa to Australian audiences.

The film, detailing what it calls the wrongful occupation of Hawaii, is being seen in New Zealand this week, with screenings in Auckland and Wellington.

Ms Kelly has been invited to New Zealand by Peace Movement Aotearoa, a national organisation which campaigns for social justice and human rights.
