Final planning is underway for a new venture that will allow Cook Islanders to learn more about film making and telling their own stories.

Called FILM RARO it is a "world first" concept to link passionate film makers to indigenous peoples to collaborate in the production of short films.

There's a major side benefit with Cook Islanders being able to see themselves on screen, hear their own language, preserve their heritage, culture and identity and to have a voice in today's audio visual digital world.

Presenter:Richard Ewart

Speaker:Stan Wolfgramm, executive producer, Film Raro
