Funding fails to keep up with Australian youth homelessness rate

Funding fails to keep up with Australian youth homelessness rate

Australian charities estimate that more than 26,000 young people are homeless each night around the country.

And Homelessness Australia says that number is increasing and that the funding is not keeping up with the needs of these children.

Support services are also reporting a spike in the number of young people from migrant backgrounds who are asking for help.
