Grassroots approach to better sanitation in Goroka

Today is World Toilet Day - which aims to highlight the importance of sanitation.

This year's theme is about violence against women.

Research has shown that women are particularly vulnerable in areas with inadequate sanitation, and often simple solutions can improve the situation.

One organisation working on the ground in Goroka Province in Papua New Guinea is AT Projects.

They use local materials and know how to improve sanitation.
