Guam leads US with launch of domestic violence register

Guam leads US with launch of domestic violence register

Three years after the relevant law was passed, Guam has set up a register of repeat family violence offenders.

The register will record the names of those people who have been convicted at least twice of family violence offenses.

Senator Dennis Rodriguez has been the driving force behind the register. He says the initiative was a must to combat Guam's high levels of domestic violence.
