Health officials in Hawaii have turned to regional languages in their continuing fight against hepatitis B and C.

A new series of pamphlets are being made available in a variety of languages including Chuukese, Marshallese, Samoan, Tongan and Ilocano.

Hep Free Hawaii estimates that one in ten Asian and Pacific Islanders in Hawaii have Hepatitis B and 23,000 have hepatitis C - both diseases are causes of liver cancer..
